Environmental Monitoring
Ambient's wireless sensor networks are being deployed to improve environmental quality control, for example to monitor humidity and temperatures in agricultural and other environments.
Moisture Monitoring
Golf courses around the world waste large quantities of water in order to keep their course in perfect shape. With detailed real-time information on moisture levels at each individual hole, golf courses can optimize the irrigation at the course and realize significant cost savings.
Together with our partner Irrigation Assist, Ambient has developed a moisture monitoring solution for golf courses. Our SmartPoints with integrated moisture sensors are placed in the ground at each hole on the course. Ambient's all-wireless networks receive moisture measurements at regular time intervals and turn this information into an irrigation advice for each individual hole.

Monitoring the Great Barrier Reef
With the fragile ecology of coral reefs around the globe increasingly under pressure, scientists on Australia's Great Barrier Reef are establishing a network of sensors to better understand this beautiful part of the underwater world. Ambient Systems works with the Australian Institute of Marine Science in order to monitor the coral and water quality in the Great Barrier Reef in Australia. The joint activities proposes new actions to achieve a sustainable future for the Great Barrier Reef.
