Job description:

As Jr Embedded Software Engineer, you will work within the Product Development organization, on communications- and control-software for our wireless networking and RFID/sensor products. A good understanding of and experience with networking products, is very useful. Additionally, knowledge of processors and microcontrollers is desirable.

• Responsibility for the specification, design, implementation and unit testing of embedded software modules for wireless networking, network management and sensor products.
• The generation of specification documents and maintenance of this documentation.
• Troubleshooting, debugging and problem analysis of pilot- and manufacturing (test) systems.
• Assist and consult in technical and functional improvement processes.

Job requirements:
• A Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
• 1-3 years working experience in design and implementation of embedded software products (preferably with wireless communications protocols like ZigBee), driver development and real-time embedded Operating Systems
• Knowledge of and experience with C/C++
• Analytical, self-supporting, hands-on attitude
• good communication skills (written and verbally) in English and preferably Dutch
• position is based in Enschede, the Netherlands (no relocations)
• 40hrs per week employment
